Tuncil Robbins, 85, of Clarksville

Retired MSG Tuncil Robbins, 85, of Clarksville, Tennessee, passed on Thursday, November 30, 2023, at Tennova Hospital, Nashville, Tennessee.

Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Monday, December 11, 2023, at Gamble Funeral Home with Pastor Perry Greenwade officiating. Burial will be in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West. Visitation will be Monday, 10:30 a.m. until the time of service. Gamble Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Tuncil was the son of the late, Mckinley and Ella Jane Robbins. He was born July 27, 1938, in Winterville, N.C.

Tuncil accepted Christ at an early age. He was employed with the U.S. Government Civil Service.

He was the Master Crew Chief of both fixed-wing and rotor-wing aircraft. He was selected to crew the aircraft for the secret mission and visitation of a Congresswoman then Presidential Candidate from Bangkok, Thailand, where he was stationed. Tuncil helped a swagger game at Bangkapitts International School, Bangkok. He’s always been humble and felt it was all in being a soldier.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Chessie Mae Robbins; Siblings, Dora Robbins, Evelyn Robbins, Edmund J. Robbins, Hubert W. Robbins, James D. Robbins, Joe R. Robbins, and Ann Robbins.

Survivors include his son, Theodore Robbins; Siblings, Ben C. (Esther) Robbins, Artusta Robbins, and Lillie Mae Robbins; Grandsons, Theodore A. (Amber) Robbins III, Tremayne A. (Natasha) Robbins; Great grandchildren, Peter Prince Michael, Elijah Hubbard, Brycest’N McKoy, Tyler A. Robbins, Isabel Falu; In-laws, Deloria Walsh, Sandra McGregor, Loreta Davis, Angela Thomas; a host of nieces and nephews
