A Hopkinsville man was charged after he damaged two businesses on Fort Campbell Boulevard Friday morning.
Hopkinsville Police say 50-year-old Joseph Tidwell broke windows and doors at two clothing stores on Fort Campbell Boulevard and claimed he did so to get the police to show up because people were chasing him and trying to kill him.
He was reportedly found with a glass pipe in his pocket.
Tidwell was arrested and charged with first-degree criminal mischief and third-degree burglary.
