Cadiz Public Works Director Craig Oakley says the recent issue that resulted in odor and taste issues with Cadiz Water, never presented a danger to the public.
Oakley spoke about the public works department at the Cadiz Rotary Club Tuesday in place of Cadiz Mayor Todd King.
Oakley says the problem that resulted in an unpleasant smell and taste was caused by a bacteria that sometimes results from a seasonal change in the water source.
