A Madisonville man and woman were charged with receiving stolen property after a traffic stop on Fort Campbell Boulevard in Hopkinsville Tuesday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police say they were alerted of a stolen vehicle in the area by Hopkinsville City cameras and located the car driven by 35-year-old Amber Martin who admitted to taking the vehicle and not returning it to the owner when they asked for it.
Martin’s passenger 35-year-old Brandon Gossett reportedly gave law enforcement a false name during the traffic stop and needles along with a glass smoking device were found in the vehicle.
Martin was arrested and charged with receiving stolen property and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Gossett was also arrested and charged with giving officers false identifying information and receiving stolen property.
