A man was flown to a Nashville hospital after his horse and buggy was hit by a truck on Pembroke Road Wednesday night.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say a horse and buggy driven by Tim Hoover was eastbound when a truck driven by Ethan Wilson who was behind Hoover hit his buggy.
The crash sent the truck along with the horse and buggy off the road and down an embankment.
Hoover was taken to a waiting helicopter that flew him to a Nashville hospital for leg injuries.
The crash happened just before 9 p.m. about a mile east of Pembroke. The horse was injured in the crash but was able to walk away from the scene.
