An Elkton man was charged after he fled from law enforcement on Pennyrile Parkway in Christian County Monday night.

Kentucky State Police say they attempted to stop 35-year-old Justin Elderbrook after he was seen going 110 mph and he turned around in the median then exited onto US 68 going towards Todd County.

Christian County and Todd County deputies joined the pursuit with Todd County deputies reportedly using spike strips on Elderbrook’s vehicle at Pond River Road and the vehicle pursuit came to an end on Kentucky 106 when Christian County deputies used a precision immobilization technique.

Police say Elderbrook tried to run on foot but was tased and taken into custody.

He was taken to the hospital due to a dislocated elbow before he was taken to jail and charged with speeding, first-degree fleeing or evading police, DUI second offense, and first-degree wanton endangerment.
