Hopkinsville’s Salvation Army Seeks More Volunteers And Donations To Meet 2023 Goals

The Salvation Army in Hopkinsville is seeking more volunteers to reach its goals for the 2023 bell-ringing season, which ends Saturday.

Lt. Lindsey Galabeas tells Your News Edge they are ten hours short on volunteer hours and nearly $10,000 behind in donations from this time last year.

Because Christmas Eve falls on Sunday this year, the campaign will end on Saturday at Noon.

Galabeas also thanks the community for stepping up this year to support the Angel Tree program.

The Salvation Army is located at 310 East 7th Street, while their thrift store can be found at 701 South Clay Street – both in Hopkinsville.
