The Christian County Water District has issued a boil water advisory for customers in the Lafayette area due to a repair made to a line break Thursday.
The advisory is in effect for customers in the city of Lafayette including customers with addresses of 124 – 1500 Roaring Springs and all addresses on North Main and South Main streets in Lafayette, Oakland Avenue, Bryan Avenue, Weathers Avenue, Old Hopkinsville Road, Church Street, Harrison Street, Cross Street, Old Clarksville Pike, White Street, Cheatham Lane, Canton Road, Lane Street, and Creek Street.
The boil water advisory is in effect until further notice.
Customers should boil water for 3 minutes before consumption.
