A Hopkinsville woman has been sentenced to 10 years in federal prison for distributing methamphetamine.
According to court documents, 29-year old Ahgeana Bailey was sentenced for one count of distributing over 50 grams of meth. Following serving 10 years in prison, she will be on supervised release for 5 years. At the time she committed this offense, federal prosecutors said Bailey was on federal supervised release for a 2019 conviction for being a felon in possession of a firearm. She was sentenced to an additional 1 year and 6 months in prison for violating the terms of her supervised release.
There is no parole in the federal system.
The case was investigated by the DEA Paducah Post of Duty and the Hopkinsville Police Department.
