Susie Louise Green Simmons-Frazier, 83, Hopkinsville, passed away on Monday, December 11, 2023.
Susie was employed in the Dietary Dept. at Jennie Stuart Medical Center, served as a counselor with Pennyrile Allied Community Services, and as a trainer with the Christian County Cooperative Extension Office. She started her own business “Home Skills for Success” for young adults.
Susie was an active Jehovah’s Witness. She enjoyed the field ministry and conducting home Bible Studies with many in the community.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Gary H. Frazier; Siblings Verlie Henderson, James Green, Samuel Marcellus Green, Edward Green, Raymond Green, and Emmanuel Green.
Survivors include her children, Pamela Herring Scruggs, Celeste Herring Bryant, Jeffrey Alan Herring, and Brian Edwin (Mona) Simmons; Brother, Rev. Dr. Floyd (Shielah) Greene; 12 Grandchildren; a host of great-grandchildren.
Gamble Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Services will be on Saturday, December 30 at 1:00 at the Kingdom Hall of of Jehovah’s Witnesses at 6900 Julien Road.
