Funeral services for 81-year-old Donald Gene Loftus, of Hopkinsville, will be 2 PM Tuesday, January 2, at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home.
Burial will follow in the New Barren Springs Cemetery.
Visitation will be from noon until the funeral hour.
Survivors include:
His wife of 62 years, Leona Gail Duvall Loftus;
His sons, David Loftus, Jeff Loftus (Carla), of Nashville, Tennessee, and Kevin Loftus (Susan), of Hopkinsville;
His sister, Diane Boley (Randy), of Hopkinsville;
Seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Loftus was born January 24, 1942, in Hopkinsville, the son of late Leslie Ray Loftus and Mary Lucille Russell Loftus.
He was a retired electrician for IBEW 816, a member of Dogwood Christian Church, the VFW, and the Elks Lodge.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Jane Duvall.
