As we head into 2024, Christian County Agriculture Extension Agent Matt Futrell shared some tips that area farmers should consider before the next harvest season.
The first tip: visit with your tax consultant and banker(s).
He added that not every visit to the bank should be for bad news – and that it builds relationships with your financial consultants, so they are easier to work with during tough situations.
Another visit: your marketing specialist.
Futrell said it’s always good to have a plan for your crops.
