A Bowling Green Man was charged with possession of drugs after he reportedly claimed multiple people were in his hotel room on Harvey Way Thursday morning.
Hopkinsville Police say they were called for 40-year-old Wendell Newsome who claimed to hotel staff that judges police and an old woman were in his room.
No one was found in his room but a bag of suspected meth was reportedly located and he requested to go to rehab instead of jail.
He was arrested and charged with public intoxication and possession of meth.
