Police have released the name of a Hopkinsville man who was flown to a Nashville hospital after he was shot on South Main Street in Hopkinsville Tuesday night.
Hopkinsville Police say Larry Penman showed up at the hospital with a gunshot wound to the stomach and claimed he was shot at the Manhattan Motel.
A shell casing was reportedly located in the motel parking lot and the area was blocked off as they investigated the shooting.
Penman was flown to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville due to his injuries and remains in stable condition. No arrest has been made.
