A wreck on Greenville Road in Christian County killed one person and sent a child and an adult female to the hospital Thursday morning.
Christian County emergency personnel say they were called just after 10 a.m. for a wreck involving two vehicles at the intersection of Greenville Road and Kentucky 1682 and found one person deceased and a vehicle fully engulfed in flames.
A child was taken by Hopkinsville EMS to Jennie Stuart Health to meet a helicopter that will take the child to a Nashville hospital for head injuries. The driver of the car on Kentucky 1682 was also transported to the hospital for injuries
Authorities say a passerby pulled the child out of the vehicle before it caught fire.
The Christian County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the crash. The names of everyone involved in the crash have not been released due to the family has not been notified.
