A Cadiz man was charged after he reportedly fled from law enforcement on Hopkinsville Road Friday morning.
Cadiz Police say they were called to McDonald’s for an employee, 30-year-old James Bacon, who had been fired and allegedly hit another employee while being escorted off the property. When deputies arrived, he reportedly fled on foot and then resisted arrest. Deputies say after he was taken into custody he was found to have two jars of marijuana.
Bacon was charged with second-degree fleeing or evading police, fourth-degree assault, menacing, and possession of marijuana.
