Ruby Nell Sanford Thomas, 95, of Hopkinsville, passed away Friday, January 19, 2024, at Bradford Heights Nursing and Rehab of natural causes. Private graveside services were held at Greenwood Cemetery in Clarksville, Tenn. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home was entrusted by the family to handle the arrangements.
Mrs. Thomas was born in Northport, Ala. on October 14, 1928, the daughter of Jake and Martha Virgin Hallman Sanford. She was a homemaker and a member of Delmont Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Martha “Martie” Jean North; her twelve siblings; and her grandchild, Tammy Gallup.
Survivors include her son, Eddie Hudson (Sara) of Hopkinsville; her three grandchildren; and her five great-grandchildren.
