A Hopkinsville man was charged with trafficking cocaine after a traffic stop on South Campbell Street Saturday night.
Hopkinsville Police say a vehicle driven by 33-year-old Stevie Bacon was stopped after he was seen driving on the opposite side of the road and during the stop, officers could see an alcohol container and a gun inside the vehicle.
After a search of his belongings, cocaine, and marijuana were reportedly found along with a gun that was found to be reported stolen out of Clarksville.
Bacon was arrested and charged with improperly on left side of road, no operator’s license, failure to produce an insurance card, receiving stolen property (firearm), possession of marijuana, trafficking cocaine, and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.
