Tennessee Valley Authority’s School Uplift is looking for school districts to participate in next year’s program.
TVA Energy Coach Tom Irwin told Your News Edge the program is a free strategic energy management training for school districts across their service area.
Irwin added that every district that participates walks away with at least $10,000 in grant funding.
Districts can also earn $200,000 in building upgrade energy grants.
Irwin said the program encourages community outreach.
