Sara Virginia Clark, age 93, of Hopkinsville, passed away Monday, February 5, 2024, at Hospice House of Southern Kentucky in Bowling Green of natural causes. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, February 8, 2024, at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home with Jerry Crunk officiating and a private burial to follow in Flat Lick Cemetery. Visitation will be at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home on Thursday, February 8, 2024, from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM. The family has entrusted Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home to handle the arrangements.
Mrs. Clark was born on April 11, 1930, in Trigg County, the daughter of the late Prentice W. and Dossie Mae Green Clark. Sara was a homemaker and a member of Eagle Way Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Raymond Clark; her sisters, Roberta Ellis, Ethelene Blane, and Floy Dickerson; and her brother, Walter Clark.
Survivors include her sons, Mike Clark (Patti) of Birmingham, AL, and Glenn Clark (Betty Jo) of Bowling Green, KY; her brother, James (Donnie) Clark of Cerulean, KY; her four grandchildren; and her five great-grandchildren.
