A Hopkinsville man was charged with burglary after he was found inside a home on Forbes Drive Tuesday morning.
Hopkinsville Police say 42-year-old Ryan Barnett broke into his ex-girlfriend’s home then took a gun, and put it on the back porch.
He had reportedly previously lived in the home but had returned his key and moved out several weeks before.
He was arrested and charged with first-degree burglary and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
