Man Charged With Trafficking Drugs In Christian County

A man was charged with trafficking drugs after a traffic stop on Bryan Street in Hopkinsville Tuesday night.

Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say 40-year-old Jack McLendon was a passenger in a vehicle that was stopped by law enforcement and during the stop he was found to have warrants for probation violation.

After a search of his belongings and the portion of the vehicle he was sitting in synthetic marijuana was reportedly found.

After getting to the jail, deputies say he was reportedly found to have three bags of drugs flattened in the bottom of his shoes. He was arrested and charged with trafficking synthetic drugs, tampering with physical evidence, and first-degree promoting contraband.
