William “Bill” Bogard passed away at 3:15 PM, Monday, February 26, 2024, at his home in Cadiz.
Born April 4, 1942, in Golden Pond, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Robert “Rip” Bogard and Mae (Dixon) Bogard Hudson.
Bill worked in the wholesale car business for over 50 years, was a veteran of the Tennessee National Guard, and was a member of the former Golden Pond Baptist Church. After graduating from Trigg County High School in 1960, he married his high school sweetheart, Mary McAllister, in August of the same year. In his younger years, he participated in dirt bike racing and enjoyed race cars, boating, and fishing. Later in life, Bill enjoyed spending time on the golf course and playing rounds with his wife and close friends.
