A Hopkinsville man was charged with burglary after he broke into a home and got into a fight with the homeowner on Bella Court Tuesday morning.
Hopkinsville Police say 18-year-old Charles Gamblin was knocking on the door when the homeowner yelled “wrong house” to him before he kicked the door in and started fighting with the owner.
A neighbor reportedly came outside with a gun and stopped the fight by pulling a handgun on Gamblin.
Police say Gamblin told law enforcement he had broken into the wrong house and that he was drunk. Gamblin was arrested and charged with second-degree burglary.
