A Christian County woman was severely injured in a wreck on West 7th Street in Hopkinsville Tuesday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police say an eastbound car was stopped attempting to turn onto McPherson Avenue when it was hit by a car behind it.
The driver of the second car was treated and transported by Hopkinsville EMS to a waiting helicopter that flew her to a Nashville hospital.
