A child was injured in a fire at Little River Landings on Pyle Lane Wednesday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Fire Department Spokesman Captain Payton Rogers says the toddler was burned when her shirt caught fire while she was next to a candle in the apartment.
The child was treated and transported by Hopkinsville EMS to a waiting helicopter that flew the child to a Nashville hospital.
