A Hopkinsville woman was charged with possession of drugs after a traffic stop on West 2nd Street Wednesday morning.
Hopkinsville Police say they stopped a vehicle driven by 45-year-old Tresha Shelton for her registration plate being expired and found she did not have valid insurance.
During the stop, police say they could smell the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle and after a search marijuana along with a bag with Hydrocodone pills and several other pills were located.
She was arrested and charged with no registration plates, failure to maintain required insurance, possession of hydrocodone, and possession of marijuana.
