A Hopkinsville man and woman were charged with possession of drugs after a traffic stop on East 12th Street Thursday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police say they stopped a vehicle driven by 43-year-old Mickell Davis after it was seen doing an exchange of something in a parking lot on East 9th Street.
A bag of a white rock substance could reportedly be seen in the door compartment during the traffic stop. Police say after a search of the vehicle synthetic marijuana, a digital scale, and a grinder were reportedly found.
A passenger in Davis’s vehicle, 32-year-old Brittany McCain and Davis were both arrested with McCain charged with possession of synthetic drugs and drug paraphernalia.
Davis was charged with failure to or improper signal, possession of marijuana, possession of cocaine, and possession of synthetic drugs.
