Parents and Employees are ranking Christian County Public Schools, and though there are areas for improvement, most of the results are positive. Assistant Superintendent Jessica Addison says they received the district Huron and state Impact Kentucky survey results back at the same time.
Of the nine categories teachers rated, 8 were at or above the state average. The teacher surveys showed most favorable for student engagement.
Meanwhile, teachers ranked a feeling of belonging high this year.
Though, they are not satisfied with the amount of resources available to them or how crowded spaces can be in buildings.
Addison says they are working on increasing resources for teachers.
As far as parents are concerned, Addison says they are rating the district consistently.
Twice annually, Christian County Public Schools send out surveys surrounding how they are doing to stakeholders. Survey results were presented to the Board of Education at its meeting last week.
