A man and woman were charged after a report of a burglary on Quail Club Road Saturday afternoon.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say 33-year-old Stanley Marcus and 37-year-old Candace Mahone were found on the property and Marcus claimed the house belonged to his deceased grandfather and it would be his after his grandfather’s passing.
Marcus reportedly did not own the home and admitted to removing a window to get inside.
Marcus and Mahone were both arrested and charged with second-degree burglary.
