A Cadiz man was injured in a single-vehicle wreck on Pennyrile Parkway in Christian County and taken to the hospital where he was arrested Thursday morning.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say a vehicle driven by 39-year-old Thomas Mitchell was exiting Pennyrile Parkway to go westbound on Interstate 24 when it ran off the road and overturned.
Mitchell was treated and transported by Hopkinsville EMS to Jennie Stuart Health for injuries.
Deputies say Mitchell caused a disturbance at the hospital that led to him being charged with menacing, third-degree terroristic threatening, first-degree criminal mischief, and resisting arrest.
