Four Charged After Oak Grove Traffic Stop

A traffic stop on Fort Campbell Boulevard at Winners Way in Oak Grove led to charges for four people Wednesday morning.

Oak Grove Police say they stopped a vehicle driven by 43-year-old Fredrick Bates of Clarksville for speeding and found him to have a suspended license.

During the stop, two of Bates passengers 40-year-old Deshauna Ryan of Clarksville and 42-year-old Anthony Duncan of Clarksville were found to have warrants for failure to appear and fugitive from another state.

While Ryan was being searched she was reportedly found to have meth and drug paraphernalia on her and more was found on her when she arrived at the jail.

Ryan was charged with possession of meth, tampering with physical evidence, possession of drug paraphernalia, and being a fugitive from another state. Bates was also arrested and charged with speeding and operating on a suspended or revoked license.

Duncan was arrested on his warrant for failure to appear out of Todd County. A fourth person in the vehicle Amanda Shepherd was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Oak Grove Police were assisted by the Christian County Sheriff’s Office.
