An October trial date has been set for the Hopkinsville man charged in a 2021 shooting that left an Owensboro woman injured.
Judge Andrew Self set an October 10 trial date for Marshawn Taylor, who is charged with first-degree assault, wanton endangerment, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
After making previous court appearances through Zoom conferences due to being a state inmate at another facility on a robbery charge, Taylor made an appearance in Christian County Circuit Court on Wednesday.
His attorney, Eric Bearden, informed the court that he intends to file a bond motion for Taylor.
