Funeral services for 76-year-old Paula Taylor, of Hopkinsville, will be noon Wednesday, April 10, at Hughart, Beard & Giles Funeral Home.
Burial will follow in the Ridgetop Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10 AM until the funeral hour Wednesday.
Survivors include:
Her son, John Wilford (Amanda) Dossett, of Hopkinsville, KY;
Her sister, Charolette Humphrey, of Glasgow;
Her grandchildren, Kara Gulledge and Cameron Gulledge;
And her nephews, Joseph W. Humphrey, of Louisville, and Matthew Humphrey, of Glasgow.
Rev. Dan Huck is officiating.
She died at 9:07 p.m. Friday, April 5, 2024, at her residence.
A native of Cincinnati, Ohio, she was born February 23, 1948 the daughter of late John Paul Jones and Lois Wagner Tomberlin.
She was retired from the Christian County Public School system. She was a member of the Hopkinsville First United Methodist Church; she was active in the United Methodist Women’s Conference and served as the president for four years.
She was also a member of the Calico Homemakers Group.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. William B. Taylor, and her grandson, Austin Gulledge.
