The Christian County Grand Jury returned several indictments Friday afternoon including on charges of wanton endangerment, burglary, and fraudulent use of a credit card.
Jacquavius Redd of Hopkinsville was indicted on charges of assault and four counts of wanton endangerment from an incident that occurred on June 14th. According to the indictment, Redd caused injuries to one person by using a deadly weapon and created a risk of death or serious injury to four other people.
A true bill was returned on Ryan Barnett of Hopkinsville on a single count of first-degree burglary that occurred on February 6. Hopkinsville Police said Barnett broke into his ex-girlfriend’s home on Forbes Drive and then took a gun and put it on the back porch. Police reported that Barnett previously lived in the home but had returned his key and moved out several weeks before the incident.
Michael Houchens of Hopkinsville was indicted on charges of fraudulent use of a credit card under $10,000, theft by deception under $500, and theft by unlawful taking. The indictment alleges that between December 18th and December 27th, Houchens used his employer’s business credit card to obtain money, goods or services.
Houchens is also accused of taking property owned by his employer, worth under $500, and pawning the property to Cash American Pawn for $160, knowing that it was stolen.
A true bill was returned on Timothy Roland of Herndon on one count of fraudulent use of a credit card under $10,000. Between December 1st and December 17th, Roland allegedly used a credit card stolen from a Livingston County victim to obtain money, goods or services, valued at around $3,497.
