A Hopkinsville man was charged with fleeing from law enforcement on Cypress Street Saturday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police say they went to the area looking for 34-year-old Detrik Sharber on warrant for third-degree criminal mischief, failure to appear, contempt of court, first-degree wanton endangerment, two counts of first-degree strangulation, and two counts of fourth-degree assault domestic violence.
While at his home he was reportedly seen running from the home and tossing a bag of marijuana.
He was arrested and charged with first-degree fleeing or evading police, tampering with physical evidence, and possession of marijuana.
