A wreck on Pennyrile Parkway in Hopkins County killed a Nashville woman Saturday morning.
Kentucky State Police say a car driven by 19-year-old Desmond Washington of Fort Campbell was northbound near Nortonville when his car crossed the median and hit a truck driven by 16-year-old Elmer Morente of Nashville that was southbound.
A passenger in Morente’s truck 36-year-old Matias Juarez of Nashville was pronounced dead at the scene. Washington and Morente along with a second passenger in Morente’s truck were injured in the crash and flown to Nashville hospitals
