A traffic stop on Greenville Road in Hopkinsville led to two Clarksville men being charged with trafficking drugs Thursday morning.
Hopkinsville Police say they stopped 43-year-old Rashad Coker for a turn signal violation along with disregarding a stop sign and during the stop found him to have a suspended or revoked license.
After a law enforcement K9 alerted on the vehicle, bags of meth and marijuana were reportedly found in the vehicle and Coker’s passenger 34-year-old Jorge Morales was found to have active warrants for probation violation.
Morales was arrested on the warrants and also charged with trafficking meth, possession of marijuana, and failure to wear a seatbelt.
Coker was arrested and charged with failure to or improper signal, disregarding a stop sign, operating on a suspended or revoked license, possession of marijuana, and trafficking meth.
