Juniors and seniors from Trigg County High School and the community will have the chance to participate in a job fair on Thursday at The Way Christian Youth Center.
The event is sponsored by the Trigg County Chamber of Commerce, the Western Kentucky Workforce Board, and the Cadiz-Trigg County Economic Development Council. Chamber Membership Director Beth Sumner told Your News Edge the event will start with teens from the high school.
Sumner said while the job fair gives high school seniors the chance to learn about area job opportunities after high school, this also provides a headstart for juniors who may not know what they want to do when they graduate.
Before attending the job fair, students learn how to best present themselves during these events.
In addition to Walmart of Princeton, Sumner shared the list of other businesses that will be in attendance for the students in the morning and the general public from Noon to 2:00 PM Thursday.
Sumner added if you are a business interested in setting up a space in the job fair, give her a call as soon as possible at (270) 522-0259.
