Memorial services for 92-year-old Anne P. Atkins, of Hopkinsville, will be 3 PM Saturday at Edgewood Baptist Church.
A private burial will be held at East End Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 1 PM until the service.
Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include:
Her daughters, Judy Stratton, of Hopkinsville, and Patty Fussenegger (Oscar), of Shelbyville,
Five grandchildren, Adam, Joe (Katie), Chris, and Mark Fussenegger, and Katharine Atkins; and six great-grandchildren, Ava, Lily, Sophie, and Dominic Fussenegger, Colin Atkins, and Jake Baker.
Rev. Brandon Boone is officiating.
She died Friday, April 26, 2024, in Hopkinsville.
Atkins was born September 25, 1931, in Hopkinsville, the daughter of late Claude and Lena Marlow Poindexter.
She was a childcare giver and a member of Edgewood Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Douglas Atkins, Sr in 2009; her son, Edward Atkins, Jr.; her sister, Eleanor Lacy.
