KCTCS President Quarles Impressed With HCC, Touts Mission Moving Forward

As first-year KCTCS President Dr. Ryan Quarles continues his tour of each of the 16 colleges in its statewide system, last week’s stop at Hopkinsville Community College and its annual community breakfast left him impressed with the facilities and its leadership.

HCC was stop number 14 of the 16 KCTCS campus tours and he said three things stood out.

click to download audioHe said KCTCS has partnerships with nearly 5,000 businesses throughout the state and said they are future-proofing the next 25 years after celebrating the accomplishments of their first quarter-century. Education in trades, he said, is part of that process.
