Police have released the name of a man who was hit by a vehicle in a parking lot on Fort Campbell Boulevard in Hopkinsville Monday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police say a car driven by 48-year-old Julie Hyams of Hopkinsville was backing out of a parking spot at Dollar Tree when it struck 88-year-old Johnnie Chandler of Hopkinsville who was walking in the parking lot.
Chandler was treated and transported by Hopkinsville EMS to Jennie Stuart Health for injuries.
