KET's Kentucky Life Host Chip Polston will tell the story of The Great Kentucky Hoard on the popular show that will air this weekend.
Polston says the story began in the summer of 2023 when an anonymous farmer found some rare coins on his farm.
Polston says the episode includes an interview with a Lexington coin dealer who helped the farmer market the coins.
He says they were able to send the anonymous farmer some questions by email, with the answers quite interesting.
Polston adds viewers will be able to watch some unique video of the farmer discovering the coins on his farm.
The Great Kentucky Hoard episode of Kentucky Life first airs Saturday night at 7:00 on Kentucky Educational Television. He says once the show airs, it will be available for viewing on the KET website.
