A Hopkinsville man was charged with possession of drugs after a request to check his welfare Thursday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police say they were called to the area to check on 31-year-old Cody Sarnacki after he had told someone that two men had raped a child.
When police arrived he reportedly tried to walk away and was found to have a pipe on him and suspected meth.
He was arrested and charged with possession of meth, probation violation, and public intoxication.
