A Hopkinsville man was charged with assaulting two women on North Elm Street at Pennyrile Village Monday morning.
Hopkinsville Police say 36-year-old Guy Johnson assaulted two women punching one several times and hitting the phone out of one of their hands. He reportedly would not let them leave the apartment.
He was arrested and charged with first-degree unlawful imprisonment and two counts of fourth-degree assault.
Johnson also had warrants for driving on a DUI-suspended license, probation violation, and theft by unlawful taking.
