Margaret Bond Moss, age 94, of Hopkinsville, passed away Friday, May 10, 2024, at her home of natural causes. Funeral Services will be at 1:00 PM on Saturday, May 18, 2024, at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home with Cecilia Tucker and Martha Rucker officiating and burial to follow in Rosedale Cemetery. Visitation will be at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home on Saturday, May 18, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home has been entrusted by the family to handle the arrangements.
Mrs. Moss was born on November 1, 1929, in Pembroke, the daughter of the late Billie and Mary Wakefield Bond. Margaret was a graduate of Pembroke High, she worked for the ASCS Office as a clerk for 14 years and then retired from Highland Elementary School after 26 years as the school secretary. She was a lifetime member of Pembroke Christian Church and a member of Jolly Canton Homemakers. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Brandon Moss; her brother, Wallace Bond; and her sisters, Mae Mason and Linda Joiner.
Survivors include her son, John Leslie Moss of Clarksville, TN; her grandchildren, Anna Nicole Moss and Jacob Andrew Moss both of Clarksville, TN.
