A Cadiz man and woman were charged with trafficking drugs after a request to check their welfare on Lafayette Road which connects to Country Club Lane in Hopkinsville Wednesday morning.
Hopkinsville Police say they were called to check on 23-year-old Jonas Stoltzfus and 18-year-old Kylee Rush who had been passed out in the vehicle.
During the investigation, they were reportedly found to have meth, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, a gun, and two unidentified pills.
They were both arrested and charged with trafficking meth, first-degree possession of a controlled substance (drug unspecified), and possession of marijuana.
