A wreck on South Campbell Street in Hopkinsville led to charges for a Hopkinsville man Friday night.
Hopkinsville Police say a car driven by 29-year-old Preston McCormick was northbound when it failed to stop at the intersection of East 7th Street and then hit a curb.
He was treated and transported by Hopkinsville EMS to Jennie Stuart Health for injuries. Police say after further investigation, two half-gallons of vodka were found in his vehicle and McCormick was charged with failure to wear a seat belt, possession of an open alcoholic beverage container in a motor vehicle, and DUI.
