A Hopkinsville woman was charged with possession of drugs after a report of possible shoplifting on East 9th Street Monday morning.
Hopkinsville Police say they were called to the Dollar General for a report of multiple people possibly shoplifting and found 26-year-old Destiny Maynard who had items she had not paid for in her purse.
She was arrested and reportedly found to have meth and a glass smoking device in her belongings.
Maynard was charged with theft by unlawful taking and possession of meth.
