A Cadiz man was charged after a report of a burglary in progress on Canton Road in Trigg County Wednesday morning.
Trigg County Sheriff’s deputies say 58-year-old Randy Roy kicked the back door of the home and caused damage to the door.
Deputies say he was unsteady on his feet and had slurred speech. He was arrested and charged with attempted second-degree burglary and alcohol intoxication in a public place.
